wow. These people are fantastic. I am really happy here. We are going to share the food, and they cook well and healthy so I joined them. I hope I will live up their expectations!! I will cook delicious dishes for them.

Today Sonia from Gazteiz and me have been training at the gym doing “boxercise” and here my new friend Jordi told me that he is going to do a party here tomorrow, at what I didn’t complain at all. He is working as volunteer in a club for the elderly and he invited people from his workplace. Don’t panic, it is not going to be a wild party with elder people. He has invited his colleagues – around 10-, so tomorrow I have to add some beers to my ordinary shopping to welcome them as they deserve.

I think I will miss these people. They are very nice. It is a pity to have come so late. We will be toguether only a week an a half…

On the other hand today I have been studying quite hard, and now I will keep on. I have the speaking exams in the corner.

New pictures!!

Hey people! Today I was in St Andrew a bit ill, but it was good finally.

You will be able to comment as well. I have just seen my first comment of a picture of mine. It is exciting that professional photographers can see your work and share opinions!!!

I have a video from a past trip. I will upload it soon. And I will make another video about this trip because the other one is on facebook and my classmates want more. They are such good models!!

New feature to take into account

Hey folks, from now forward, I am going to upload the pictures in Flickr, so you can see in on the right hand side of this website ( a la derecha de este sitio web). There will be 3 previews of pictures, but actually for example from this las trip, could be around 15.

So take it into account!!(tenedlo en cuenta!) because I will upload new pictures regularly. I have intention of participate in many contests (concursos) so be awared!!(quedad avisados!!)

Hi my lovely friends!!

My toothache is getting better. I went to the dentist but if I wanted them to see me, I would had to pay up to 25 pounds, so since I felt better I decided to wait one more day just in case. I was thinking: they are leechers (sanguijuelas) Sergio!! Don’t let them deceive you! (engañar)

The dentist was smiling me while asking.. are you sure you don’t want us to see you?

I had to answer 5 times NO. And now I am better.  Fuck her leech!! XD

and today was the third day Ross my host’s son made noises at 6 50- 7 00 am. He wakes up 1 hour earlier to play videogames. Crazy!! The house is the only thing against my happiness here. When there is not noises (kids playing wrestling) next door, even moving the floor, there is smoke, or suddenly you can smell overused oil from the kitchen, since the extractor is broken since september. We can’t wash the plates because there is not place to put them to dry, the toilets were cleaned 3 months ago, and before that 5 months before…

I think it can’t get worse here. Even the washing machine doesn’t clean properly. So now I have to sleep early because the kid will be making noises at 7. I said him for 4th time to not make noises….

Anyway I asked if they have another house near to the college to move in. It would be great to spend the last month in a normal house. On the other hand if I stay here untill the end, when I get my home could be a great experience. I will be astonished!! WOW normal pans(sartenes) the floor is clean!! I can walk even bared feet!!

My flatmate is sick of this house as well. We laugh of the situation..

Highlander garments

Hi everyone.

Here you have the pictures about when I was dressed as a genuine Mackenzie highlander.

The kilt was introduced by English posh people (elitistas) during the 19th century because it looked more fashionable. With this clothes the highlanders could protect themselves from the rain, they had 2 pockets, and protection in their legs against thistles (cardos) -the flower of Scotland, and they had a leather pouch( bolso exterior) to put meat of animals they hunted with its blood together and after hours, it turned into “black pudding”: a kind of morcilla. It was a bit heavy but you can get use to it quickly. The way you see in the pictures is the correct one to hold the weapons. The small knife was used to cut the opponent’s stomach after being pushed him with your small shield. After, with your big sword you could cut his head. This technic wasn’t flawless( sin defectos) so a counter technic was created, since Scots (highlanders) left so their right side unprotected for a while.

Hi people!!! Tuesday and with a lovely hangover!!!

These last days were full of events. Jaime placed a bid for a new lenses! He is jealous of my lenses haha!! Javi is known now as “uncle Javi” (Yes!! This new human being is called Martin and he is from Huelva!!) I can’t wait to see him!!!. Bou is learning a lot in his job, Asier, Papas are working as well (it is supposed that they are good news. Not for me!! hahaha) I would miss the beautiful unemployed life hahahah

And the last news I have heard:

Cirith is coming to live in the basque country OEOOEOEOOEOEEEE Maybe he is coming to the punk festival in viveiro?? WOW!!

And Expendables is coming very soon!!

Nikon D70s

Hi there. Today my new camera arrived!! I was waiting at home skipping classes but the deliverman came at 12 so I could go to the last class. After classes I use to spend 1 hour per week talking with my teacher face to face. It is not common so I am very grateful to her.  So after  the speaking session, I went out to take some pictures trying to figure out (comprender) all the stuff I have been learning at the photography online course.

Today was my first day with a DSLR and I spend all the time in MANUAL mode!! It was quite confusing at the beginning but finally I could do whatever I wanted to. I am quite proud of myself because I think I took a very nice picture with a strong subject (tema). When my card reader arrives, I will be able to transfer it to the computer and show you it.

Well, I am quite excited now, I can take pictures of everything but I can do it in an artistic way!! And then I can make videos!! So I hope I can bring more color to this blog.

Edinburgh

Hi people. Here it is what I promised. Pictures from Edinburgh!! We had a very good time. Culture, fast food, laugh, and nightlife. I want more!! Only 2 more months and to the Galdakao’s swimming pool!

I am learningh a lot about photography. I have just bought a used pro camera (Reflex) and I can’t wait to take pictures in the Gorbea, Usansolo, the coast.. By the way, my ebay seller is stuck in India and he can’t come buk to the UK because of the ash cloud. I have to wait I think at least one more week!! WTF! (What The Fuck)

I miss my life there in Bilbao as usually, but I am not bad here. (a note to remember in the future)
